The Process
Every project begins with a conversation, not a canvas. Before anything is drawn, I need to understand the business — where it has been, where it is going, and what it needs to feel like to the right person in the right room. Only then does the pencil move.
The first marks are always on paper. Never on screen. Ideas need friction to become real — the resistance of a pencil on paper slows the thinking down to the right speed. Dozens of directions are explored and discarded before one earns the right to be developed further.
What survives goes through construction — proportion, geometry, weight, balance. A logo must work at the size of a business card and the size of a billboard. It must hold in black and white before it earns its colour. Every decision is tested until nothing can be removed without something being lost.
What you receive at the end is not a file. It is a considered position — a mark that tells the right people exactly who you are, before a single word is spoken.
